FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Everything guests, hosts and property managers ask most often about renting an oxygen concentrator in Park City.
How does delivery and pickup work?
- Surf Mtn delivers your oxygen concentrator to your Park City vacation rental, private home or hotel before check-in, sets it up in the room you choose, and picks it up after you check out. We coordinate access with your host, property manager or front desk, so you do not need to be present for delivery or pickup.
What is the minimum rental length?
- The minimum rental is one night. Most guests book by the week, and monthly rates are available for extended stays and property-managed inventory.
How is the equipment sanitized between guests?
- Every unit is cleaned and disinfected between rentals using manufacturer-approved products, and filters are inspected and replaced on schedule. Nasal cannulas and tubing are always new and sealed for each guest, never reused.
What is included with an oxygen concentrator rental?
- Each rental includes the concentrator, a new sealed nasal cannula and tubing, a simple one-page setup guide, and delivery, setup and pickup. Portable rentals also include two rechargeable batteries with AC and DC chargers.
Which areas does Surf Mtn serve?
- Surf Mtn currently serves Park City, Utah and the surrounding Snyderville Basin, including Old Town, Deer Valley, Canyons Village, Kimball Junction, Prospector, Park Meadows and the Jordanelle corridor. Additional mountain destinations are planned.
Do I need a prescription to rent an oxygen concentrator?
- Surf Mtn is an equipment rental company, not a medical provider, and we recommend that every guest speak with their physician before using supplemental oxygen. If your physician has prescribed a specific flow rate or device type, bring those instructions with you and follow them.
Is this appropriate for a medical emergency?
- No. Our rentals are intended for comfort during travel at elevation and are not intended for emergency medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
What happens if something goes wrong with the unit?
- Text or call us and we will troubleshoot immediately, and if the unit cannot be resolved remotely we will swap it out, typically the same day. Support is available daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Mountain Time throughout your stay.
Who is responsible for damage or loss?
- Normal wear is expected and never charged. The renter is responsible for loss or damage beyond normal use, and the terms are presented in the rental agreement you accept at checkout.
Can property managers and hotels set up an ongoing account?
- Yes. Property managers, hotel concierges and vacation rental hosts can arrange recurring delivery, partner rates and shared referral links through our Partner With Us page.
